Our Center can provide our investigators with single cell genomics services through collaborations with the UCSD Center for Epigenomics led by Dr. Bing Ren, and the UCI NSF-Simons Center led by Dr. Qing Nie.   This includes production using high-throughput snATAC-seq and snRNA-seq, and single cell Methyl-HiC, as well as epigenome- and transcription- based analysis services.

The Xu laboratory has acquired two MERFISH instruments (MERSCOPEs). They are used primarily to meet the obligations for our funded projects, but we may be able to run limited-scale pilot experiments to help our colleagues.  Developed in the laboratory of Dr. Xiaowei Zhuang, MERFISH (Multiplexed error-robust fluorescence in situ hybridization) is a spatially resolved single-cell transcriptome profiling technology that allows robust molecular imaging of hundreds of specific RNA species in intact brain slices.   MERSCOPE was the first commercially available high-plex single-cell spatial genomics platform, produced by Vizgen.
