The CNCM has partnered up with the lab of Dr. Gordon Fishell at the Broad Institute at Harvard University to produce and distribute cell-type specific enhancer AAV reagents as part of the BRAIN Initiative Armamentarium project. These enhancer AAVs gain genetic access to specific cell types in rodents, non-human primates and other vertebrate species is critical for enabling targeted circuit manipulations to understand normal brain function and brain. The use of gene regulatory elements for targeted gene expression is transforming brain circuitry studies.
Enhancer AAVs
Below is our current catalogue, choose your enhancer and reporter and serotype combinations. All enhancer AAVs are produced in HEK293 cells, purified via cesium chloride gradient and ultracentrifugation. Titers are validated via droplet ddPCR and meet our titer of 1 x 1013 GC/mL (genome copies per mL). At this time we are limited to distributing with these reporters and serotypes since they have been validated.
